Hello and thank you for your interest in learning about The Whale Museum.
After over 4 months of being closed we have decided to open our gift shop to the public. We are unable to open the museum to visitors at this time, please be patient, kind and mindful.
We are diligently following every rule put in place by the Health Department and Washington State in order to keep our staff, our customers, and this community healthy and safe. Please remember we can only open our gift shop. The hours of operation are 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Thank you.
Please be self aware of any COVID-19 symptoms and delay your visit until you are healthy.
Some things that will be different:
• Our galleries remain closed
• A cloth face covering must be worn at all times during your visit.
• Social Distancing, must keep 6 feet of distance from all staff and other visitors.
• All interactive exhibits are temporarily closed.
• Limited Gift Shop capacity - 6 customers only.
• Restrooms will be unavailable to guest.
• Hand sanitizer will be available and we ask that you use it or provide your own.
• Updated Gift Shop Protocols, staff will gladly explain during your visit.

Hours of Operation Year-Round:
The Museum's Exhibit Hall & Gift Shop are open Sunday-Thursday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Friday-Saturday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. from May 24th until early October. Thereafter, in the quiet season, hours are daily from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Administrative Offices are open Monday-Friday (except for holiday closures).
