Make a difference for whales and the Salish Sea

Your membership helps The Whale Museum advance research, education, and conservation efforts that protect killer whales and other marine mammals. By becoming a member, you support the programs, people, and knowledge that help connect our community with the marine environment.

Founded in 1979 with the help of more than 400 volunteers, The Whale Museum opened its doors in a historic building in Friday Harbor, Washington. As the first museum in the country dedicated to interpreting, studying, and educating the public about whales in the wild, we continue to inspire appreciation for marine wildlife and work toward a future where generations to come can enjoy and protect the waters of the Salish Sea.
