Adopt L-72 Racer

Racer was first photographed off Race Rocks, near Victoria, British Columbia. Racer had a younger brother Nigel (L-95), who died from a fungal infection in 2016. In October 2004, Racer had her first calf, Fluke (L-105). 

Racer has been observed in a state of pregnancy multiple times over the last decade but has unfortunately lost these pregnancies, as she has not been observed with a new calf.  

A one-year symbolic orca adoption includes:

Instead of another certificate and 16-page booklet, we'll send you a "renewal star" for your current certificate and a new 4" x 6" photo of your whale. You'll also receive an "Orca Steward" magnet instead of a patch (not included in eco-friendly renewals).

Recipient information is only used to deliver adoption benefits, like Monthly Orca Updates and our Cetus newsletter. Recipient information is not used for marketing purposes. Adoptions are processed and in the mail within five business days.
