Eighth Generation Orca Throw Blanket

This killer whale design by Louie Gong (Nooksack) was adapted from a linocut print he created while attending a printmaking class at the Evergreen Longhouse in Olympia, Washington. The design, which depicts an orca embracing the challenge of turbulent waters, is a good example of Louie's subtle efforts to merge complementary aspects of his Native and Asian heritage.
