New Baby in L Pod!

The Center for Whale Research has confirmed the birth of a new calf in L Pod, L-119. The mother is Matia (L-77). L-119 is Matia’s second calf. Her first calf (L-114) born in 2010 did not survive. However, as with each new calf born to the Southern Resident Community, we are hopeful for the future of L-119.
